The animal shelter project is located on the outskirts of Irpin, Kyiv region. The plot has one entrance and parking for staff and guests. The territory is divided into several zones: medical, administrative, sanitary, aviary zone for dogs, aviary zone for cats, animal walking green area, warehouse area.

An administrative unit and a medical center for animals have been designed on the site. Animal enclosures have quite a lot of space inside, arranged in several rows with large green spaces between them.

The architectural concept of an animal shelter was created in 2022. After the liberation of the Kyiv region from Russian barbarians, many people left their homes, there was complete chaos, many animals were also lost or left without owners.

Volunteers, founders of the “zoopatrol” created a shelter to save animals. And we as architects decided not to be on the sidelines and help with our experience by creating an architectural concept of the shelter.

And although not all ideas were implemented, the shelter “Zoopatrol” has already been built, works all this time, saves and takes care of animals. For which we thank its founders very much.
