After thriving in the natural wine industry for three years, Real Portuguese Wine encountered a growth plateau—a point where momentum slowed considerably. Upon careful analysis, we identified a significant bottleneck: insufficient brand visibility and awareness. In response, we initiated an awareness campaign, leveraging the expansive reach of meta ads to connect with a broad audience.

Although the ultimate goal remained focused on driving sales and achieving a positive return on ad spend (ROAS), the primary emphasis of the campaign was to construct a robust foundation of brand awareness.

Impactful & creative ad sets.
Prior to launching our Meta Ads, we undertook a comprehensive research and analysis phase to obtain a better understanding of the target audience.

Following this groundwork, the campaign creation phase ensued. This included first and foremost, the creation of the actual ads - ad visuals and copies. We took a great care in this process, as the ads themselves lay the groundwork of the entire campaign performance.

Ongoing optimisations.
Subsequently, we delved into the campaign setup. Leveraging insights learned from our seasonality analysis, we narrowed in on specific geographic targets. This targeting strategy underwent further optimisation as campaign results and data began to accumulate.

Looking ahead, the coming weeks will witness ongoing refinements, including A/B testing to fine-tune both the copies and visual components of the ads, ensuring an increasingly effective and resonant campaign.
