A Promotional Magazine for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

Harley-Davidson has chosen to reposition and promote their brand to a younger audience. They required a promotional magazine that embodied this fresh new take on a their classic brand whilst appealing to this new audience. That's where I came in.

I took inspiration from skate culture and fashion to inform the look and feel of the magazine, drawing a parallel between the themes and aspirations of skating with that of riding - an unbridled desire to be free!

This new look for H-D is centred around 6 core tenets:
1. Promoting a lifestyle of freedom
2. The journey is more important than the destination
3. Riding is for free spirits and rebellious souls
4. H-D is proud of its history, but is now looking to the future
5. Community and camaraderie is essential; people > bikes
6. Riding is inclusive to all

Riding, much like skating, is about so much more than just the activity. It's an identitycommunity and lifestyle.

I believe my magazine effectively delivers on promoting these ideas in a fresh, new, exciting way that is sure to inspire free-spirited individuals to pick up their very first Harley and take a ride on the open roads that they won't soon forget.
