Vegetable Taxidermy 2013

Vegetable Taxidermy is inspired by a tavola’s practice of proudly serving locally grown, farm-fresh produce, promoting and supporting local Hudson Valley farmers. Trophies of the chef’s mastery of nature, the mounted organic forms add whimsy to the rustic atmosphere of the interior space of the restaurant. The vegetable trophies are cast from locally grown vegetables, representing the bountiful harvests of the Hudson Valley, New York.
