Invitation Exercise
I had to create a typographic invitation using only one or two colors and no more than three typefaces. The invitation I created was for a wedding. With no other graphics, only text, I aimed to make the invitation interesting yet not overwhelming by choosing elegant but not overly ornate fonts. Additionally, I utilized appropriate proximity to easily distinguish important information such as location, time, and contact details, ensuring that essential elements like names and event names were prominently displayed with larger fonts to catch the eye. It was a great assignment that taught me that I can design beautifully without using pictures or many colors.
