The images included in articles are usually what grab my attention whenever I flip through a magazine or newspaper, and this project was my chance to create something that had the same effect. The article I was given was about tips on fighting jet lag while traveling, so I knew immediately that would need to be colorful and comforting—easy enough on the eyes for someone about to fall asleep. I decided to try out a lineless art style because I wanted the colors and shapes of the illustrations exist outside of a bounding box. They felt more lighthearted that way, which is what I was going for.
