For users who are new to the application, I designed the onboarding pages to quickly introduce the most basic usage features of Storytel. This is an application where users can listen to or read books and e-books offline, when they first step into the application.
My objective was to introduce the user directly to the application and provide accurate suggestions on the homepage by clicking on the areas that I need to learn from the user. This will ensure that the homepage shows targets that match the user's interest. These practice screens assist users in optimising their use of the application. They typically comprise multiple screens.
On the initial page, I sought to present a selection of sample books in the form of a slider as a starting point. On the second page, I enabled the user to select their preferred languages. On the third page, I enabled the user to select the style they are interested in and like, so that they can make appropriate suggestions.
