The work is referring to the atmosphere and history of the Witte de Withstraat (Rotterdam), a sanitized arts and entertainment street with an illustrious history full of hookers, dope and night live. Think Moulin Rouge 2.0 with a pinch of Rock ‘n Roll. It is a collage of transparent, colored plexiglass full typographic phraseology, slang and sloganism.
