DESIGN APPROCH FOR THE PROPOSED TOILET BLOCK DESIGN NEAR THISSA WEWA
The project was to design a new toilet block design according to the size of the selected site. The design is done for an eco-friendly and cost effective manner. The best solution to implement this is, to use exposed, eco-brick walls. This brings a more modernized look to the building as well.
The layout of this toilet block is designed so users can move freely without struggle.
Both male and female sections have a disabled persons’ toilets, and ramps are located at the entrance for people in wheelchairs. Each section contains a minimum of 4 toilet cubicles and one shower cubicle.

Sizes of Cubicles, Disabled persons’ toilets, doors and pathways are designed, not to be less than the minimum international standards required.
