My Uncle came to me with a proposition. He wanted me to design a license plate for all of the recipients of the Air Medal that you get 'for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight'. Him and his Air Force buddies were recipients of this Medal and it's apparently pretty easy to get your own license plate made.
I did this during my sophomore year so I was just starting to learn the Adobe programs and doing this took me about 2-3 hours.
Below is what my uncle sent to the OCI.
This is the template my uncle sent to me to follow.
My uncle and his buddies already had an idea in mind for how they wanted the license plate to look. They wanted it to be pretty much the exact same as the license below but with the Air Medal instead of the Bronze Star.
I asked my uncle if he wanted the medal to be in a 2D art style like the Bronze Star or this photo on the plate. He said to just put the photo on there.
