This is the video for my first Andersen Studio crowdfunding Project, which was not finded but I am trying again after reading more about how to strategize a crowdfunder. This video is a visual poem, of sorts , of my vision of transforming the company that my family built into The Great American Ceramic Designer Craftsmen Network. Andersen Studio- Andersen Design has long been committed to producing our fine crafted product in the USA. We have an unusally complex and layered inventory of classic designs in American Nature Art and American Contemporary Funtional Forms that have retained their market appeal over the decades- some going back to the early fifties- so they are authentically mid-century design. The first project in the transformation is to create rubber molds of our designs. Rubber molds are expensive to make but they preserve the designs and make it easy and affordable to produce fresh production molds. The project in the video you see here was to create a mold for the Great White Heron Sculpture, a very special work by founder, Weston Neil Andersen, who is 92 years old today.
