Lonely
In the predesign phase, I draw inspiration from the skyscrapers of modern society. Unlike in Ireland, skyscrapers are abundant in China. However, the higher the skyscraper, the less familiar neighbors are with each other, fitting perfectly with the theme of "lonely."
Using different shades of pink, I balance them to achieve harmony with a striking impact. The word "Lonely" at the bottom right corner is distinct. The thickest lines at the top resemble rows of skyscrapers, each housing lonely individuals.
Viewing from top to bottom, the progression illustrates the concept of loneliness. When alone, one feels isolated, sitting in a corner with arms wrap around knees. With two people, loneliness persists, yet the second person attempts to connect with the outside world. At three, represents by three floors, the third person disregards those above. At four floors, the fourth person lies silently, waiting for external contact. The fifth-floor person can never reach those above.
Poster Card (Inside)
During the digital typographic design phase, I intend to create a postcard. The sharp-edged typography, combined with deep green color, evokes a sense of sophistication reminiscent of playing cards.

Firstly, I divide an A4 paper into four sections, then arrange each letter of "Inside" individually. The "I" in the bottom left resembles a streetlamp, while "N" resembles a knife guard. "S" sits in the middle, with its color transitioning between the two halves. The next "I" resembles a musical instrument, a trumpet, followed by "D" and "E". For the design layout in this section, I opt for a monochromatic color scheme, with green being the dominant hue for "Inside."
short
Using the New Roman font, the typography reflects its meaning; short and slender. Even without a designed sun, one could infer that it radiates from a 45° angle, as evidenced by the elongated shadow on the ground. When one thinks "short" is already short enough, they'll discover another even shorter "short" in front of it.

In combining text with line and rectangle for layout, I aim to convey a sense of confinement and unease when view, hence employing the rule of thirds to achieve balance. By putting text in the middle, the final effect resembles peering through a small hole.

The use of different shades of blue, with darker blue for the text and lighter blue for the surrounding area, which helps emphasize the theme. Additionally, employing wave curves adds dynamism to the composition.
