“WTR” Brand Identity

The Brand Vision - 
WTR” .. is a bottled spring water company that provides pure, refreshing hydration from natural springs. Additionally, “WTR” is for those who appreciate high-quality water as apart of their daily routine. (*A hypothetical brief that was externally set). - The brief was provided to me by @briefcorp. 

So, for this brand identity for the spring water company “WTR”, I designed a unique brand by combining a modern & fresh identity that would ultimately highlight how this brand wishes to stand out from the crowd! Using a cohesive blue colour palette & a striking blue gradient within the actual logo, I personally think that I have delivered a very effective vision. That if it was to be brought to life, would provide a unique identity, that would allow 
themselves to be unique/different from the countless other spring water companies/brands that already exist in this particular niche industry. Providing a fresh look like no one else!

At the core of this brand’s philosophy is the USP that the identity should showcase a clean, modern and quality driven design look/feel. So, with this in mind I carefully crafted an aesthetic that showcased this throughout. To do so, I started with the colour palette which ultimately led me to choosing a selection of blue & white hue’s. I personally decided to use these as the brand’s colour choices as I felt that it highlighted the “clean” aspect, as well as the idea that their spring water is clean & refreshing. In terms of the font choice, I went with a striking typography that gave a modern feel, but also wasn’t too boring/repetitive either and thus provided a simple but effective style. This was also carefully considered, as I had to think about how I could make the packaging & the actual product itself stand out in the environment it would be placed within. (Fridges in shops & supermarkets etc).

Colour Palette -
The main colour palette of “WTR” consists of a variety of blue hue’s which were consciously chosen to highlight the brand’s values. Those values are the following: clean, modern, high-quality and trustworthy. Understanding colour psychology was essential, and so with the necessary research I understand that blue represents trust, cleanliness and reliability just to name a few. Additionally, the choice to use blue also made sense, as it could also connote to the consumer what the brand/company actually sells ….. water!
Font/Typography -
For the font/typography I decided to choose a font that could be readable & stand out from  distance on a shelf or within a fridge. This was mainly thought about as the actual font would have to be seen by consumers in real environments & not just online digitally. With this in mind, I thus choose the “Nohemi” font as it allowed me to highlight the brand’s ethos and connote a modern & clean feel.
