The images above two different products however each side shows a different lighting setup. 

The pictures on the left have a hard light setup, meaning that there is no diffuser or something for the light to pass through and it is hitting the product directly. You can tell based on the harsh shadow lines behind the products.

The two pictures on the right have a soft light setup with rectangular soft-boxes directly attached to the light source. The shadows on these images are not as harsh and the lines are not as defined.

The portrait images above also portray different lighting setups, the ones on the left being hard light setups and the portrait on the left with a regular soft light setup.

The pictures on the left with the hard light setup have a brighter and whiter tone on the model's skin tone, the shadows coming from both the hat and sweatshirt folds are harsh and abruptly end.

The two pictures on the right have a soft light setup with circular soft-boxes directly attached to the light source. The shadows on these portraits are much softer and fall across the model's face and body.
