The Quest Gaming Lounge brand was developed under the tutorship of Studio 3AM as part of the “87012 VC Project: Research Through Design", at the University of Technology Sydney. This project focused on creating a motion identity for the Quest Gaming Lounge, emphasizing inclusivity and steering clear of stereotypical gaming iconography. The deliverables for this project included a motion-style guide, an animated mockup, and an adaptable brand identity.
After conducting extensive research, the solution for Quest Gaming Lounge emerged: a brand built around the motif of a journey, symbolizing the adventure and exploration intrinsic to gaming. The visual identity incorporates dynamic typography set against a space-like backdrop, evoking the boundless possibilities of gaming. This creative direction encourages gamers to embark on thrilling journeys, exploring new horizons within the gaming experience. Moreover, the brand serves as a bridge between various gaming worlds and themes within the lounge, culminating in the development of an adaptable brand that resonates with diverse audiences.
