Boehringer Ingelheim commissioned our studio to concept a branded wayfinding package for their Roxanne Labs campus near Columbus, Ohio. We worked with them to develop a series of site communication standards, then took those standards and defined a scope and location map for all of the proposed signage.

 

We then went to work designing typical sign types for the range of locations, keeping in mind the perceived hierarchy of the system, brand standards, approach speeds and distances, communication requirements, durability, production method, delivery schedule and a host of other considerations.

Boehringer Ingelheim took our finished designs and had them fabricated and installed on their campus. This new signage looks great, works beautifully, and knits together a campus of buildings with different architectural personalities. But perhaps its most important function is that it serves as your first impression of Boehringer Ingelheim. Having a long history in pharmaceuticals, they wanted to be perceived as modern, precise and sustainable. And, most importantly, they want to be approachable to potential clients.
