A little late but since I still like how this turned out I thought I would ad it here. This was my final poster entry for my senior show "Emerge" back in April, 2014. Our theme was pretty cliche as a result of producing an art show by committee with 15 artists with separate styles and concentration leanings. As a result we settled with an idea that tried to emphasize our breaking out of school and into the professional world. I'm still not exactly sure how it was decided that there should be an upside-down iceberg on the poster (something about the different facets of an iceberg and breaking away from the ice shelf?)  but I rolled with the ideas and tried to stylize the concept in a way that incorporated some of the different art styles from the show. I am relatively happy with the result even though it was decided to use a different design in the end. I feel that it represents a fun style that I still wish to explore further.
