For this artwork, I wanted to develop a process for creating a portrait using Photoshop and Illustrator. I used CS5 versions, because that is what we have in my classroom. Students needed a positive experience with painting after a couple of setbacks. This work uses an artwork as the base for the design. Students repaint, paintover, sketch over, and add color to the design. In the end, the process went quite well, and many students became successful.
