SEAT HEMERA
Seat Design Competition 2009
____

The "Seat Hemera" was a submission for a design contest promoted by SEAT and "Automagazine" in 2009 intitled “One Seat for the modern woman”. The car had to be practical, economical, small and above all, functional and aesthetical. The model was developed and concepted with the help of CAD Solidworks with renderizations made by former Bunkspeed Hypershot (now Keyshot).

The "seagull" open doors system is integrated on this model, parking sensors and a panoramic roof are also incorporated. The vehicle is 100% electric, motioned by lithium bateries. The small car gives greater adaptability on the citywide scenario, giving advantages in terms of parking and traffic flow. The large majority of automobiles are too big for the functions they provide and their owners need dailly. This contributes to an increase in fuel consumption and wasteful spending in vehicles. This statement concludes that small cars are in fact the way to go on urban areas.

Interior renderizations will be presented soon.
