The Outsiders
Penguin/Puffin book prize I chose the puffin brief, which was to create a front cover for ‘The Outsiders’ by S.E. Hinton. ‘The outsiders’ was a great read and I would recommend it to anyone. The book is full of many different themes of imagery that an illustrator can explore and enjoy. Personally the theme I was keen to explore was the iconic greaser, creating the book cover in the style of a 1950’s-1970’s matchbox. Media used: pens, ink, photography and Photoshop
