A Markov chain of my daily activities
(From Wikipedia) A Markov chain, named for Andrey Markov, is a mathematical system that undergoes transitions from one state to another (from a finite or countable number of possible states) in a chainlike manner. It is a random process characterized as memoryless: the next state depends only on the current state and not on the entire past.
A description of the five different states:
Biological housekeeping
Work-related activities
Intellectual entertainment
Instinctual entertainment
Socialization

The bars inside each state are showing the relative probabilities of other states transitioning into that state.
As time progresses, the probability of being found in each state evens out. When that happens, the system would have reached a steady state. In reality however, the steady state is only a theoretical guideline. We just need to know when things get "close enough".
The arrows going into a state fade out when all the bars display the same height.
