Museum Ethnography

Digital entering the sacred space of museums

A North-American museum contacted Nurun with the request for a new website. We quickly realized that before we could design a new website we needed to better understand how their visitors were experiencing their institution both while in the museum and digitally. With this in mind, we lead an ethnographic study that involved talking to the museum visitors and generating insights that will influence the museum’s communication strategy at large, including the redesign of the museum’s digital presence.
