Alexis SS16 RTW

inspiration

Inspired from the Jubilee Church by Richard Meier. The crown jewel of the Vicariato di Roma's Millennium project. The church featured three large white curved walls of concrete. 

concept

I design suit, vest and shirt. Transformed church’s special walls into my sleeves. And make it fluffy to looks like religion and royal. I let my collar erected and opened. It would make one person look more superior and stylish.

color

Marshmallow, Greener Pastures and Calla Green.

As Richard Meier said the large thermal mass concrete walls control internal heat gain; the result is less temperature variation, and supposedly more efficient use of energy. So I choose much greener.
