Suspended above the ice. Many of the ice flows were above the lake level.
Carved by the winds, many of the iciles have strange bulbous shapes.
One especially photographic spot is this hole in the rockface. A treatment in black and white.
Dragon's teeth. Sheltered inside, some the icicles have hoar frost extenstions.
We went out quite early, and managed to have a chance to photograph without hundreds of people in the way. The two just rounding the point give you an idea of the scale of the cliffs and ice formations.
