For our final project in Styles and Concepts, we had to choose a Dream Project. The objective was simple: do what you want to do, but really consider your choices. Where do you want to go with your style? Where could it be applied?

 

I decided to do a humorous holiday card, the front and inside. I've always wanted to try my hand at it, and I decided to face the project head-on for my last piece.

 

Front of the holiday card. Bold, rich red typography followed by a hardcore teen.

Inside of the card. The illustration is simple, but effective in showing the animosity the boy on the front has towards Christmas.

Original concept. Decided not to go with it as the character felt too personalized for a Christmas card.
