The Kokiri are forest-dwelling beings who live in the shadow of their patron deity, the Great Deku Tree. All Kokiri are green-tunic-wearing children, and have magical anti-aging characteristics. To date, they have only existed in the realms of Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker, but are mentioned in passing in the game text of several games of the Zelda franchise.
The Korok race consists of wooden people with the ability to fly. The Koroks are spirits known as 'The Children of the Woods' and are watched over by the Great Deku Tree who resides in Forest Haven. They appear in The Wind Waker along with the Great Deku Tree.
Koume and Kotake are recurring characters in the Legend of Zelda series. They are the surrogate mothers of the Gerudo King, Ganondorf, and loyal to his cause. In the parallel world of Termina in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask they are friendly characters, as opposed to being antagonists. Koume, the red, has power over fire, while Kotake, the blue, has power over ice. They appear in Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons.
