Description
This project was done for a group assignment as part of my Motion Graphics 3 class at Parsons. The goal of the project was to reimagine a title sequence for a movie of our choice. We selected Blade Runner in part because the title sequence from the original movie is so simple that there was little for us to be influenced by in developing our own vision.

Process
We started by watching the movie together and discussing initial ideas. We identified three core concepts that we felt embodied the feel of the movie: character, lighting, and architecture. We each selected one of the themes and developed a storyboard to pitch to the group. We drew from all three storyboards to develop a final storyboard and created a set of style frames to work from. We divided the workload based on our interests. I worked on the illustration, animation, and lighting of the sets, Rodriguez illustrated and animated the characters, and Barodawala tried everything together through his choice of sound and type and animating the path of the camera through the space.
