I was contacted by Konami Europe to see if I would be interested in contributing a piece to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater's release.
This project was based around the antagonist boss' known as the Cobra Unit featured in the game in which 6 artists/illustrators/designers (including myself) where given one of the unit members randomly and had to produce a piece featuring said character for Konami Europe to promote this 10 year anniversary through social media outlets.
I was given The Pain to base my piece on which is a disfigured character that can basically control a swam of Hornets. I also based it on the fight scene between snake (the protagonist) and the pain which takes place in a flooded chamber in the cave snake is traversing.
