This $80M Middle/High School was designed and constructed on a fast track basis to replace the school’s former location in the lower ninth ward that was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The state-of-the-art Gymnasium was designed to house all student recreational activities and includes an indoor track, a basketball court designed to NCAA standards, spaces for wrestling and a recording studio for the band.
I was heavily active in design development and coordinated FF&E and consultant (A/V, lighting etc.) packages.
