The idea of the enchanted forest was because I always have been fascinated by fantasy tales , so I was inspired by the magic mirror of the evil queen of snow white, but I wanted to give it a personal touch to my illustration, so I did not include the apple... I thought immediately in the end of the tale, when blancanieves wakes up the curse is ended and for that reason the soul of the queen is taken by the mirror which is breaking in thousands of pieces of glass... in the magic forest where Snow White was living.
