For this project, I was given the restrictions of the story, photos, and headlines that was provided to create a magazine spread for the Spring Hill College Magazine. I chose to use photoshop and to take the frames off of the hand artwork that was given and to rotate them to make a heart. This story about a Spring Hill College student who worked with abused children from the Penelope house to create arwork was a inspiring story that I wanted to give warmth without ignoring the darkness behind the children's presence at the Penelope House. I thought that the transparent hands added a depth and texture to my magazine spread that gave it a unique and refined quality.
