child brides! , social responsability, graphic design

YUGSF Graphic Design III - A social responsabilty project .

I focused on play-aged child brides.
EACH YEAR OVER TEN MILLION CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD
FORCED TO MARRY ON THEIR AGE OF SIXTH TO FOURTEEN!
And many of them already experienced much of violence and sexual abuse.

During project I underlined their age of play inspiring of the children games.
I designed logo, catalogue, affiche, packaging and also created a public spot video.
My project is to position in Turkey.

PUBLIC SPOT

Logo and key elements.
I designed a catalogue to speak out. The catalogue informs people
about recorded numbers of childbrides, their very early age and the pyschologic results.
I inspired of hopscotch.
The affiche

I used the red robe because, in some cultures like Turkey, brides have the traditional red belt.
It may also represent the violence they have.
The call center is available to communicate and to give information.
As a guerilla mouvement the chocolate boxes aim at to reach them and give a hand.
These boxes which are very cheap position to the markets just next to the payment desk.
To keep it cheap is important because in Turkey the child brides problem appears mostly in the poor populations.
