“Nian” is a fictitious monster in traditional Chinese legend. It rages on during Chinese new year. Here I take “Nian” to be the metaphor of pressures and downs lasted, accumulated in the past year. Through my production, the Bursting Nian, I wish that all the upsets are blown up and all the troubles turn into ashes.

年獸是中國傳說中的怪物，每到農曆新年便會出來作亂。我把年獸引申為每個人累積一年的壓力跟不愉快，完成了這件作品，希望可以炸掉大家的所有不快，讓煩惱隨煙硝散去，用全新的自己迎接嶄新的一年。
