I am glad to be part of this film project that sheds a light on the true father of aviation. The film will consist in a fiction part and a documentary. I have created the title treatment for the film, many more elements will come.
To keep a certain sense of realism I decided not to use a ready-made typeface but rather a custom lettering for the title. The imperfections (differences between the "E", irregular curves of the "D" and "R") there on purpose.
As a reference to Clément Ader character (he was passionate about sciences since his childhood and became an outstanding engineer), I added curves, radii and other elements from schematics. The accent on the "E" is a wing profile.

Some props were also produced showing 100 years old sketches. Ideveloped my own process of folding, rubbing, dipping in coffee to achieve the right look.
