This brief was designed to show the importance of a designer understanding their audience. We had to choose an audience type from one of the following and take a series of images before editing them down to a final choice.

I chose the theme of ‘Real Cornwall’ and walked around Falmouth trying to find interesting subjects to photograph for my ‘street portraiture’.
I chose this image as my final piece as I liked the compostion, with the depth of field focusing on the man and emphasising the expression on his face, I felt that it was a good example of a persons character showing through in portrait photography.
