Second Year Coventry Automotive Design Project.
This was the first project completed in my second year of university. I was assigned the task of designing an automobile inspired by an aspect of nature, I personally looked at dragonflies.
I began looking at the basic form to inspire the aesthetics but it soon became about the anatomy of a dragonfly and how it could inspire a radical packaging solution.
The completed design featured a sporty driver cabin, and a glass cell for rear chauffeured passengers. The detailing throughout the car was inspired by the compund bug eye of a dragonfly.
