Day workshop with Ken Garland, we were put into groups of three and I worked with Myrddin Wooding and Yuichi Romita. All of us found were intrigued in some way by the notion of Death. Ken asked us if we believed in an afterlife and from our responses we began to generate our idea.

 

We wanted to look at the possibility of a manifesto of how to get into heaven. We looked at a range of different religious pre-requisits for achieving salvation and decided to show print these as products that had been bought. We wanted to question if people did these things because they were qualities of what a “good person” should be, or if the true motivation was a rewarding afterlife.
