Character Modeling: Head Base Mesh

Here's the second project for my Character Modeling class. 
 
The task at hand was model a generic male head basemesh from scratch, utilizing two reference images. The goal was to achieve clean topology and a surface that could be easily rigged. 
 
I used a planar workflow, using Maya for the entire model, and Mudbox to supplement volume in the head. The model was turned in at level 0.
