Calendar of Light

Light is the the fastest thing in our universe. A photon of light will venture out into the great expanse of our universe for all eternity. We measure its path according to our system of time, so how far does light truly travel within a year? What milestones does it cross along its way? This calendar series is designed to illustrate the path of a single photon that speeds out of our sun on January 1st in an effort to answer such questions.
