I was asked to design the characters for three animated spots that were based on the style of the old cartoon "The Line" by Osvaldo Cavandoli.
First I had to find how to stylize the three characters (dog, cat and owner) remaining faithful to the principle of the design consists of a single line. Once created storyboards for 2 web teaser 15 ", and for the final TV video ad of 30", I began to devote myself to the movements of the characters.
Each animation has been developed just like the old cartoons, in which each frame is a drawing and a succession of these drawings creates the movement.

In the end it was a very interesting job that allowed me to acquire the basic knowledge about the synthesis and the movements of the characters.
