Usability
Visual Indicator Understanding

PROCESS
I was the lead researcher on the project. I conducted 20 individual interviews evaluating two prototypes. Participants completed several usability tasks in a one hour study. This was a within-subjects design and prototypes were counter-balanced among participants.

FINAL DELIVERABLES
A final presentation was delivered which included synthesized findings about navigation, screen layout, and task performance. The desirability of each concept as well as design and interaction opportunities were delivered to guide future strategy and design.

SPECIAL NOTE
This was one of several projects conducted regarding the infotainment system. I participated in several of the evaluations. This project was chosen because it included both steering wheel and touch screen controls and basic usability features.
