Elective Studios: Color

Two Worlds
The idea behind this project is to create two different pieces with the exact same colors. Our color choices were limited to five, and I changed the background to give the images a drastically different feel, both individually and in their relation to one another.
Transparencies
For this project, we went through a process where we selected colored pages from our Color-Aid pack and then matched them with the color directly between them. If done correctly, the process yielded an image that gives the impression of one color being transparent!
Luminosity
This piece, the last assignment completed this semester, addresses the theory that luminosity comes out of placement of colors and their relation to one another on the color wheel. I created a grid with large areas of contrasting colors, made up of smaller areas of analagous colors, to test that theory in my own way.
