For the final project of the Fall/Winter 2014 Typography III class, we were given a collection of 80 essays regarding the evolution and culture of readership in the 21st century. The objective of this assignment was to curate these essays into a series of five books or more and design around certain aspects in the content of the selected essays.

After reading through, there appeared to be set a themes that divided the essays into separate categories: one regarding the traditional way of reading, another regarding the non-traditional methods of reading and the last set of essays taking a neutral stance on the subject. These categories drove the design behind the series with the first book featuring essays regarding traditional readership, the second and third containing the non-traditional stances and the third and fourth with the neutral-opinioned essays.
