Typography study for illustrated book of great female vocalists of the 20th century, "Soul Sistas." 

The women featured in "Soul Sistas" made music that stool for something. Aretha demanded respect while Carole let us know that we had a friend. Each were mothers to many hungry listeners and changed the game with their vocal and lyrical prowess, leading a generation of like-minded women through gender and racial inequality with their music.
