A dream, the thirst for life and the hope for a better future was the reason for inspiring this journey that became known as the 'The Three Hundreds'.
It was named when Alexandros Ioannou started from the north of Scotland, with a bike he built from scrap materials and started travelling with a hundred euro he had in his pocket at that point, planning to pass from a hundred locations and travel for a hundred days until he arrives to the final destination, his homecountry Cyprus.
The adventure of this trip is recorded from the start page Facebook The Three Hundreds / The Three Hundred - # 3x100s, simultaneously managing the charity support of the organization 'A Dream A wish' for children with cancer and related diseases.
This trip lasted 113 days and passed through 18 countries. A year later, the young traveler declares that this experience was an adventure of a lifetime, after he had witness some breathtaking landscapes and had the opportunity to meet some really amazing people.
These are some of the photos that have been presented in the collection of photographs that Alexandros has presented in his first ever photography exhibition called 'The Three Hundreds: A Bicycle Trip Through Europe'. Aims was to share his experience of this journey, through his lens and illustrate some important moments of the trip from Scotland to Cyprus.
