A brief for a University project asking me to design a magazine for Country & Western Music lovers. I tried hard to combine the stereotypical style of the genre with a more contemporary look, and combined the letterpressed masthead with Helvetica Neue.
The format of the magazine is a square, the same size as a vinyl record, and the front of the magazine is designed as a graphical representation of one. The magazine even comes in a sleeve similar to a record with the masthead, features and price printed on the sleeve rather than the actual magazine.
