I started this decorative composition by creating and sketching a specific traditional character with simplified features and with a modern touch, on a black 100x70 cm paperboard, using a white sketching pencil.
After that, I filled every shape using layers of tones [middle tones, dark tones, highlights] and layers of warm hues of Guoache and Tempera.
The main target of this project is to create an unrealistic traditional/ mythological character, using the traditional decorative painting methods such as the Decorative Spot or the Flat Stoke, along with the ''Ton sur ton'' method.
