OTHERWORLDLY 360° THEME RIDE
The Virtual Reality Experience
▼
Virtual Reality grows up to become a new art form. Watching an ordinary film or video, we're limited to a frame - a rectangular fragment of the scene the director wants us to see. In 360° video we can look all around and see all the aspects of the imagined world.
Our first 360° experience (below) lets you ride a rollercoaster in the parallel reality theme park overflown with cute otherworldly creatures.
Otherworldly Theme Ride was nominated for the EXPERIMENTAL FILM VR category at VR FEST at CES 2015. It also spawned more than 100.000 views on YouTube!

The best way to watch it in 360°

Our short premiered as an Official Selection of FULLDOME UK 2014 festival.
It took place in National Space Centre in Leicester - UK’s largest visitor attraction dedicated to space and space exploration. Located within is the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, the largest in the UK - the best way to properly experience our theme ride with friends :)

This is how one frame of 360° animation looks like.
It's an equirectangular projection like the one used on the globe.
The whole sphere around us is stretched to such image.
