For this first ad I found the image and substracted both two women from the original. I used the quick selection tool and I selected both women and give them a new background, which was black. Then, I added the text Using bright colors so they could contrast with the background.

 

For the second ad, I also substracted the people from the background using the quick selection tool. I gave a radius of 0.5 and increased the contrast. I added the text last, and made the text on the bottom larger to emphasize its importance
