Social Media and Ambient Campaign for „netwars“ (netwars-project.com)
Target:
Publication of the transmedia project "netwars" (netwars-project.com) and generation of traffic for the platforms of the campaign.
Tasks:
Strategy and concept development of the whole campaign, creative direction and management of the Facebook campaign
With a Social Media and Ambient Campaign we showed the concrete dangers of cybercrime and surveillance in direct context through the characteristic style of "netwars". A fictive weapon dealer was used as vehicle to post threatening messages on the web and public places. Amongst other things we used fake discount offers for cyber weapons, stickers, warning messages, short irritating video clips with
a salesman and storytelling about fake characters on Twitter.
